Re 10A - perfectly fair, I think. A question mark has been included to cover the possible looseness.

Re: reversed - looks exactly as it’s supposed to, according to the Wikipedia entry; we’re asked to reproduce a section of the message.

Just about the right level of difficulty for a single session solve in my view.

Thanks, Will37. My problem is with the wordplay for the second half of the entry. Very happy with (and amused by) the definition.
I reckon that the wordplay points to a final letter that cannot fit.
