I'm ashamed to admit after weeks of puzzling what do "FOI, LOi and COD" mean.

Hi there, nobody else seems puzzled by 15 across! I think I have the answer (plural of a 1st name) but can't discern ANY sense at all in it. Help! Thanks!

15 is a hidden. "Invading" would be better than "overpowering".

Thanks Jono, Chrise and Geeker, I will check out the lists. I'm fairly new to all this. Enjoyed today's offering, took me all day though. I found yesterday's prize much easier.

It reads upwards, starting with what a bird that's risen has done, then three first letters, then pets. The definition is the last word as a noun, not an adjective.
