Brendan @10
I've never been able to find the crossword winners on either the Guardian app or the website!
Worth pointing out the prize is normally an Alex Bellos puzzle book, back in the day it was a Chambers dictionary.

Strange one for me - initial pass didn't glean much, FOI 15A, but only because I've eaten in a restaurant of that name!

Clearly picked up just enough to get going as I'm now complete barring 10A and 4D...any hints / guidance welcome!

10a has a type of military sally around a word for a stage in a race, say. The (misleading) definition is "casting"

4d is a charade of "upbeat intro", "female", "band" to mean "conducting" (not in a musical sense)

Aha, thanks chrise - penny dropped on 10A not that I knew the word itself, had to check it.

Have all the crossers for 4D but I'm still stumped - it'll come to me I'm sure!

I buy the Saturday Graun anyway, but I need the physical copy to do the crossword - I need to be able to scribble away round the outside!

Ah - done now - I had the second word of 11A incorrect, hence the wrong crossers in 4D.

Thanks for the help all and have a good weekend.
