Thought this was moderately tricky myself. NW corner held me up for a good while. Enjoyed the jumbled clues given they weren't too tricky, largely avoided the nightmare that can ensue with jumbled difficult clues.

I couldn't be bothered to find the magic square or do last week's deciphering; after spending some time trying I gave both up as a bad job.

Found this delightful, though many clues were pretty easy (balanced well by having to enter most answers jumbled).

The shapes and theme achieve perfect union, and we even get two helpful hints in the grid in case we can't see the shapes. Brilliant.

A lovely puzzle of about the right level for me. Nearly done but I can't find one of the two hints in the rows across (I have the lower of the two). This means one of two things: they didn't have one of these at the Dusty Forge, Ely, Cardiff (now long gone after repeated drug busts) or I have made a mistake somewhere.
The latter is more likely so could some kind soul offer a hint.

I think you may have an error - easy to do with jumbles. With a correctly filled grid two rows combine to make a single sentence which describes the shapes to be drawn. No grid staring required.

I think I’ve gone wrong. Are both the asterisked cells the same letter?
