Could someone please give me a nudge on the 3rd sport clue. This puzzles construction is remarkably similar to that off this week listener.

Minor celebrities is 1,7 and goes around J(apan)

Thanks brendan, my only (minor) gripe with this puzzle is the vagueness of some of the clues. A hint to the sport involved would have helped, but I now have an improved knowledge of golf!!!

Thanks Sloth, but I don't think it was that obvious, I mean, when was the last time "quiet" in a barred puzzle led to anything other than 'p', 'sh', 'st' etc?

All done but stuck on H clue Peacemaker in Ireland, one having nothing to lose. (6) I have .IREN. Have I gone wrong somewhere?

4 letter "Ireland" + 2 letter "one having nothing to lose" - definition is "peacemaker" (Goddess of peace in Greek mythology)

Fgsltw, No! Your letters are fine, Concentrate on the second clause in the sentence/clue, it uses a pretty normal clue device...
