Well I finished at 5.10pm - not bad for me. Well at least I have an answer in every part of the grid. Though I'm not sure about the parsing of some of my answers. I was amused by some of the Hamlet clues being misleading e.g. 2d, 7d and 19d.

My parsing problems:
Iac, 12ac (second part), 27ac and 1d, 7d, 23d. Don't worry about explaining them to me. I'm sure my friend in Sheffield will be able to do so tomorrow or at least tell me why they are wrong.

My FOI 25ac closely followed by 3d. My LOI 11ac. My CODs 13ac, 16d and 17ac. But thanks for all the hints - I wouldn't have finished without them, especially the Bird!

I managed to get out in the garden for another 40 minutes (getting chilly now out of the sun) and tomorrow I hope to plant up my tomatoes, aubergines and cucumbers in my greenhouse, my back willing.

Wow. I don't know why that NW was such a struggle. In my defence I think there were some dodgy clues up there compared to the rest which I thought was a really enjoyable puzzle. Thanks Brockwell. I didn't fully get 13a if I'm honest.

COD
I think 5d

Just approaching Exeter and what a beautiful evening.

Like Rocky I found the NW corner difficult and have only just finished.
13A includes a popular green salad ingredient as well as a well-known broadcaster.

Abz. Thanks for that. Not 100% sure about that clue. Bit clunky.
