Hi Jono, if memory serves you use Apple (I remember from a discussion on the extra section on the Chambers app that wasn't available to Android users) but the Google Play store for Android no longer has the app available 😥

Morning all. I'm not finding this as easy as last week. Suspect I'll be finishing this on the train home this afternoon. Can anyone help me parse 12a please. If my answer is right I just can't see it.

hi rocky
12a reads as "single fly" backwards

Gosh, another Prize. That others seem to have breezed through which I found extremely hard-going!

I think I have finally parsed everything except 16d. I think there is only one possible answer that fits. The crossers but I can't see either of the animals mentioned in the clue. Any help appreciated.

Never heard of 12a or 20d but clueing seems fair once Google had confirmed they actually existed.

The dog isn’t an animal, JustSolve. Think verb.

Hi Ianwil

My name is a clue and it’s not one you would see this side of the pond

Good one Birder. I think Ianwil may be right, 20d looks to be what I like to call “grid crunch”. Only two other words fit and they are both Scottish, so might this have been a reluctant choice of word?
