All done except 11a can anybody give me a clue I’ve got 3 letters and I guess that the third letter is an r

Maybe so, but in the process I’ve learnt a rather wonderful onomatopoeic word for a lovely bird. I’ll probably have forgotten it by tomorrow, but it’s all part of the joy of the cryptic!

birder - 3rd letter isn’t an R. Definition is last word.

Mostly done but 18d has me defeated. Can anyone help please?

18d parses 1,1,4,1

18: thematic, defn. "drama", parses as 1, 1, 4 ("getting on"), 1
