I have solved 9 clues over a few sittings today.

1a - Finally enjoy prize after good turn (6)

Is ‘Y’ involved? From enjoY? I have no idea what the definition is.

4a - I thought FOREARMS was the answer, but I have some lettered which prohibit that.

11a is too complicated for me….i don’t know where to start!

1a. Yes, you are the right track. Y comes after G for good then a word for prize (as in to value). The defn is turn.

4a you are the right track with arms (clubs being an example). Need to drop a four letter word meaning “all that remains” into the middle.

11a another G for good, O for old, and the crossword setter is ME. The rest you can fathom I’m sure.

Thank you. You are due financial reward for the help provided to me!

12d - Casting out money and Red Book (11)

I thought this was CASH & RED BOOK as an anagram, but it’s not

17a - well….i think the middle word is THE but that is a complete guess; the rest is gibberish.

23a - this is gibberish squared!

anagram of OUT MONEY RED. Can't be CASH or it would be an indirect anagram (anagramming a synonym of the word instead of the word itself) and these are no-nos.

Books often means NT (New Testament) or OT (Old...)

thrice means 3x, rejected means reversed. English = E.
