Can I ask for some guidance please?

I have solved half the clues ( I think).

Is 1a an anagram? If so I cannot find 14 letters to solve it.

Can I ask for hints with 9a & 10a please? I’m hoping those might give me some extra crossing letters for all the down clues in the top half of the crossword.

1a yes anagram. count from the beginning

9a is hardly a fair clue. you have to find a chocolate wafer bar - brand name - put a spanish word in it, add a letter at the end, to give a musical writer from some time ago
