Could someone give me a nudge with 25 (I think I have the answer but can't parse it perfectly, so I'm not sure) and 25 please?

I meant '...and 23 please?'

For 23, the (misprinted) def is the first 4 words. I could do with nudges on 21 and 25.

21 - def is first 4 words (with an adjustment). wp is animal with a letter swap

25 - defn is first 2 words. wp is single letter (impacted by clue adjustment) followed by 7 letter anagram.

Well the evidence of the match is there (kicking myself for not seeing it earlier - tricked slightly by the wiki plot summary).

However i can now only find 41 cells to colour brown (and im not sure looking at it how the structure is defined in row 5) - if its wider than i currently have it gives me the two cells i need.

andyp - Using L-R symmetry for the single bar in row 5 gives only two bars (so there's no way to broaden your image there).
Have you remembered to bar off the unchecked across letters? If not it might be possible to lengthen the 'appendages' by one on either side.

Sorry, that's confusing - I mean the unchecked down letters (reading across the rows).

drxx @75, that is the way to do it - something I had initially ovrlooked.
