Thank you. Reassuring to hear that. I’ve ended up googling every answer, and many of them are still well beyond me.

I am having trouble trying to understand the parsing of 19d which seems to be one letter adrift from an anagram I think.
Any hints would be welcome.

I agree with the general opinion above. Some of the clues are pretty nebulous today.

Hi coffindodger, 19d parses 1,4 (a sin) inside of which you have two single letters (a rector)

Yes, CCC is more challenging.
But there are things like DECILITRE (100 cc) and CCCP (Euro-transcription of USSR). Might be able to work from PARSEC (approx 3.26 light-years). Musically, Creedence Clearwater Comeback (instead of Revival) or something involving 10cc.

Hi all. That was def on the harder side, but enjoyable. Like the CCL theme - well spotted.
LOI was 1D - liked the misdirection of Temper
Don’t understand 20a though (or second word of 5D)
