Morning all, I'm not convinced by my answer for 5d (which gives me a proper name for 16a, which I'm also doubtful about although it fits). Can anyone help on the parsing of 5d please - or indeed 16a?

Not too tricky I thought.
Wasn’t convinced by the definition in 12a, for me the answer means coming to a halt / finishing prematurely.

TT is definitely Tourist Trophy in the race sense (when it’s not Teetotal or somewhere in the Caribbean).

5d is the device required to get from one part of the clue to another.
6a yes to proper noun. an anagram of a shortened word.

Seems we've all been head-scratching over the same clues this week. I had similar trouble parsing 3A until eventually coming to the same conclusion as Darla. Still don't like the 'one through' device, though. Meanwhile, 25A was also driving me crazy, as I was looking for a way for the first THREE letters to mean Lawrence, rather than the next 2. Doh!
Couple of definition quibbles: I agree with Jono re 10A (which I guess is what was meant), but also the 'laws' homophone in 13D is a bit of a stretch. Otherwise, good fun. As, hopefully, this evening will be. Come on Wales!
