@heleninglos
re your last query

They are those individuals that use new products before the majority of people. They are risk-takers and trendsetters and have a strong influence on the success or failure of a new product.

[This is unrelated to the previous post, but I don't know how else to post but to reply to an unrelated post. Advice about this would be appreciated.]

So I had everything but the unches of 24 Across. Surely I didn't know any word that fit G _ L _ E _ E _ E.

Just about to come here and beg for a hint, the non-word (?) that turned out to be right hit me. I entered it and then googled it and Lo and behold, voilĂ !

Though I'm not sure exactly how the clue works beyond the definition.
(Also, why does CA = Charlie in 12D ("Charlie excited, having boozed it up") ?

I enjoyed a lot of the clues and entries, maybe most of all "Wonderful, for it told us how to dance"

(I was less enthused about the repetition of several words in more than one clue, and double definitions that use the very same word origin twice.)

I should quote the 24A clue:

"007's adventure: duck!"
