I thought this was a good puzzle, found it a bit harder than usual. NW and SE were straightforward, but I found NE and SW pretty tough. I liked 6, 8, 15, 22, but my COD is 7.
Agree that 10d is a little clumsy, but I didn’t spot it before, so I guess it doesn’t bother me much.
Wondering if the first two letters in 8 gave American solvers any trouble, but maybe it’s pretty standard in cryptics.
Thanks to Everyman.

Well.

I have managed to solve 9a, 14d, 19d and 21d.

I am stumped now I’m afraid.

Any ideas to point me in the right direction?

Also, what does “…” mean in a clue?

Does “EVERYMAN” mean “IM”?

take a very close look at the clue for 17a.
the ellipses sometimes link clues or solutions, but the ones here seem to have no function at all.

Druh 4d is an anagram
Get that and you have a few letters filled in. Good one I liked 10d DD.
13a Favourite couldn't see that for a while.

Very enjoyable; though I found it more challenging than usual; mainly in the NE and SW.

Loads of really great clues - too many to name, but I loved the hidden across (took a while to spot that) and thought 15d was brilliant. 18d made me smile!

Thought 16d a weak clue. As someone else said, you wouldn't use that term to describe a bad review. Nor, really, to describe a low-budget film. That was my only quibble though. And, I also don't understand the point of the ellipses.....
