Can anyone explain either:
a Deputy Fuhrer engages East German whore (7)
c Might one be seen making stops in Bude, Penhallam, Salem, Mousehole and Torpoint (5)

a. The name of the man who was the Deputy Fuhrer, around German word for 'east'.
c. An &Lit clue, where the whole clue is the definition. Describes what a tourist might do. 'Stops' means the last letters.

c - "stops" refers to all the final/stops letters and also part of the wordplay as it's a Cornish word for tourist.

a - Actual Dep. Fuhrer goes around German for "east".

I'm actually doing this puzzle at this very moment and hadn't actually solved those two yet so was too slow off the mark:-)

No problem, Brendan. I found this quite a workout. It was only when I guessed the letters for the coloured cells that I was able to fill in the central area. I think I've finished, but I have 2 entries for 'af'.

So far I've only entered the letters for B,C,D,E and G, although in fairness to myself, I only started it about 40 minutes ago and I'm also watching season 6 of Game of Thrones so ...

af - I have a slang term for money or profits, a double homophone. The same word appears twice in my grid.

Yes Mattrom, ignore my previous post, I thought of it just as Hodor was "hold(ing) the door" and clearly didn't give it enough attention:-)
