I am struggling.

Can I ask for some pointers please?

What kind of clues are:

6/10/17/19/24/25/26 across?

7/8/18/19/21/22 down?

I don’t know how to access these clues.

Not sure I understand the question.
In the acrosses, for instance:

6 is a cryptic definition
10 a double definition
17 a homophone
etc.

If this is helpful, I can give more pointers on the clue types.

For the rest of the acrosses:

19 is a double definition (not a great one IMO)
24 a reversal of a charade
25 a reversal
26 a charade

Thank you.

I am always impressed by people saying these are easy. I have never been close to finishing one.

Brutally difficult for my abilities I’m afraid.

Is 18d an anagram of BANANAS?

6a and 10a might as well be written in Swahili!

Bananas is the anagram indicator.

18d: need to introduce some crossword terminology. 18 is an anagram (indicated by "bananas") of "lauding". In crossword speak, "bananas" is the anagrind and "lauding" the anagrist. See references above.

6a: what speech condition would cause the 2 key words to be pronounced alike? Cryptic definition.

10a: This one took me a while. A word which can mean "fell" (noun in UK English) or "dock" (verb in a nautical sense). Think Othello. 🤣 Double definition.

Don't give up, druh6sm. These things come with experience. I still struggle with clues involving cricket terms. But after a while you come to recognize certain things, such as "bananas" means to anagram an adjacent word (or words sometimes.) 6a is just a sort of joke. Think about how the words thane and sane are related. 10a is what's known as a double definition, which means the clue entry can be defined by both "fell" and "dock." Think of "fell" in its topographical meaning.
