Re my 16, very sorry. Combination of a typo and a major brain fart. I meant 3 (the typo) and it was in the Prize, not Everyman. Sheesh! Don't allow me to post anymore.

That's a relief...2 in the Everyman is one of the hoariest and most common of crossword staples, so I was puzzled by your confusion. Agreed on 3 in the Prize: I parsed the clue quickly but had never seen the term and needed to confirm the solution via Google.
