OK I have it now. Didn't know that was from that era. I would have thought 50s for that. And yes I agree chrise, I would expect that too.

Can't get my LOi which is 7d. Suspect that lat five letters mean a scam (swerve). Still stuck. Any help most humbly and gratefully received.

7 parses 3,5. swerve is part of the definition, not the wordplay.

Needing hints for 14a and 24a as well as 19d please. I have answers but can’t get the green tick on the app so must have an error or two and these are the ones I haven’t managed to parse.

Lovely day here in Wiltshire. Maybe others we usually see here are out gardening!

14a is nicely misleading - definition last 4 words
24a (5) - type of 11, then a word for "provided" inside a word for the Guardian. Definition last 4 words again.
