Still not working - tried saving to pdf then printing from both Acrobat & Chrome, just get a blank piece of paper. Tried printing another pdf from Acrobat - that printed OK.
looks like I'll have to buy the paper

My 1across (.) doesn’t fit in with my 4 down; what have I got wrong. Im sure my 4 down is right (🏏)

The ‘symbol’ should appear in the last light of 1a. The crosser with 4d is the “1” from the enumeration in the clue

Thanks Jono. So it’s the first 8 letters of the answer not the last 8? Does that apply in all cases ?

GG, the ‘symbols’ may appear anywhere in the answer, beginning, middle or end ;-)

So the themed answers a not real words?

I'm so confused. I've solved 52a and 52d and can see the symbol for 52d but he only symbol I can see in 52a is 6 letters not 7. I also can't see how they fit with the same starting letter. Help!
