Thought this was a bit more difficult than usual... can't parse a few.

I can only see one rhyming pair (11 and 20).

14D was COD I think very good.

Thanks Everyman. About an hour to finish (can't parse a few though).

Can't parse 9 and 13 for a start.

Can't parse why there is no Y in 11.

16 was a good clue.

19D is a good Scrabble word of course first time I have seen it in a crossword. It is an anagram of the best 7 letters to have on your Scrabble rack.

OK I can see the parsing of 11 now... no need for a Y.

Can also now see parsing of 9... one letter "over" I see.

So I think 13 is the only one I can't parse.

An enjoyable puzzle anyway.

Hi PS,

13d - I haven't done the puzzle yet but it looks like a double definition.

"divisive" as in working out multiplication, division etc and can also mean premeditated.

Yeah I think so too. As in one of the fundamental operations of algebra, past tense.

I'm currently reading a book by Marcus Chown and in the current chapter he's talking about logic gates - I thought it would be right up your street 😉

Logic gates are way too low-level for me, I prefer high-level language stuff. You can do anything with a NAND or a NOR gate though. Much respect for the people I used to work with who actually made silicon chips though... very clever. I just verified that they would probably work OK... and they did (much to my surprise lol).
