i have the author and the titles of all the books. I also have three of the cryptic entries but the last one eludes me. Without giving too much away the three i have are as follows:
9 letter on row one; 4 letter on row 10 and 4 letter one on row 12. I would be grateful if someone could give me a hint as to the final one. Perhaps giving me the title initials of the book would be sufficient.

I do think you’re giving quite a lot away, in terms of locations and lengths of answers. Or you would be if you were right. Only one of them is accurate, so i think you need a rethink. Hope that helps

thanks quisling for your help. I think i now have 2 correct. My entry on row 12 didnt go far enough so is now 7 letters. I apologise if I inadvertently gave too much away on my previous post. Back now to more head scratching ! Maybe I am short of some of the books.

Home at last thanks to some judicious nudges from the forum. It's a lot easier when you have the correct author. In future, I won't be so hasty to jump to conclusions.
