Jazzgirl 7d parses as five letters from last two words of the clue + an anagram.

I thought the cross at 16a/12d rather sloppy, to be frank. First letter M would have been easy enough to clue.

Amazons character is not the rainforest ...

Ah, I had the wrong word. Makes sense now.

3d - first word is "get through to" + 3 letter "little Leonard" + the apostrophe S

I agree with Phil re 19a (Fumbling would have been a better choice of word) and with Brendan - it only really equates if you use it in the past tense. Not the best clue.

I'm with Loubylou on 7 down - I also didn't know this, and having got it, can't parse it. I can see the anagram of rain, but how does the rest of it work?

Apart from those two, I really enjoyed it, and found it on the easy side. Two rhyming pairs this week! Lots of great clues but favourites were probably the rhyming pair of 11 and 20.

Thanks Brendan. As soon as I posted I realised I had the wrong word. Without the last letter there is a perfectly feasible alternative.
