It’s nice to have an easy one now and again but for me to complete it in 30 mins is very unusual ! Sadly it means Im back to yesterdays Prize where I have only got 2 answers so far :-(

The solution fits the wordplay but it seems to me that the definition is wrong. The wine is spelled with an "E" - preferably with an acute accent.

Chambers lists the ending in I as an alternative spelling, but I agree it’s uncommon

I was in agreement regarding the wine, but have now checked in Chambers who show the spelling ending in 'i' as an alternative

Under sake it looks to me as if Chambers is giving saki as a pronunciation but not as an alternative spelling. But no matter. Thanks to you both.

The current version says:

Interestingly partook of one at lunch yesterday.

Yes, a very easy one this week. I would agree too many anagrams. I know some on here don't get on with the spoonerisms but I enjoyed today's.

I now have another hour and a half's train journey to fill.

.... and I was at a book launch at the weekend and the gift basket given to each of us included a bottle of Tokyo Z1 Premium Sake (it was held at a Japanese restaurant (or at least Japanese themed, the owner is English) - haven't drank it yet though:-)
