One of the most straightforward Everymans we’ve seen I think. I didn’t count them but it felt like rather a lot of straight anagrams, albeit with a couple of ‘unusual’ anagram indicators. All the Everyman features we’ve come to know and love of course.
It will be interesting to see if experiences differ.

Disappointing - a complete write-in. Maybe a little over 5 minutes? Ah well.

Well, SW was empty with the rest done but worked my way into it. Yes a lot of anagrams but many are apt and raised a smile. Had to word search the Spoonerism.

Can't parse 3 down. Too early for hints?

Yes, astonishingly straightforward. 9 raised a smile.

Enjoy your Sundays

I agree it was easier than usual, with a bit too many anagrams, but still very enjoyable. Struggled with the Spoonerism, as always - bit of a groan moment when I got it!

Also thought 9a was amusing, but COD was 24a.

Thought 17a a bit of an odd clue (unless I'm missing something) and 19a might just as well have been a straightforward definition clue.

Agree this was on the easy side. Nice to see such a long ‘hidden’ and you are right Jono, some of the anagrinds were unusual and also worked as redirects as they often mean other things in crosswords.

Is 10A right? I have only seen that spelling used for a monkey and (hence?) as the pen-name of a brilliant short story writer.

Yes, it’s right. Every other letter plus personal pronoun.
