I shall press on and may be back. Currently trying to figure out 6d as I have an obvious answer but not sure yet.

Much appreciated the link to the .pdf file being posted here, printed off my hard copy and set to work.
Given some of the early comments I was pleasantly surprised to make good progress - FOI 8.
Got the theme and knew a fair bit of the GK required for the associated clues.
Familiar with 14 after visiting that football ground on many occasions in the 70's and 80's. Often hearing references to visits to nearby 18s from those gathered there! Think the song others are referring to is called 'Poor S****er Tommy'.
LOI 5, I too had forgotten recent name change.

It’s a reversal of the second, third and fourth words (the last minus its final letter), chrise, and an &lit as the first word indicates the reversal and gives part of the definition
