Nice to not have misprints or extra letters for once too.
Took me a while to get going but then all became clear.

Could someone please nudge me on my last solve: "End of lead..." please? I just can't believe what the clue is telling me to do...

Sunray, it's an anagram - I remember seeing this definition before and being really surprised to find it in Chambers.

Dsc, tummy of dog must = middle of dog? That's my reading of it, with definition at beginning.

Dsc, I don’t have the puzzle to hand, but I seem to recall you have to split sniffer dog, and put the dog’s tummy (middle) inside the sniffer
