Thanks to Nutmeg, a relatively rare guest, for this week's Prize challenge.
I found it about mid-range difficulty, perhaps a bit easier than Prize norm. Expected a topical theme, didn't notice one, but may have missed a subtlety.

Nutmeg has composed some brilliant weekday puzzles of late, so I was expecting a blinder. Enjoyed it, solid but not really exceptional IMO, not as many "Wow!" clues as often found in Prize grids.

FOI 13.
LOI 10 (in grid), last one parsed 12 (solution seemed clear but parsing difficult).
A couple of long across anagrams helped get started.
COD 25, runner-up 11. Also enjoyed 14 (bit of a trap for the solver) and 1d.

1d and 2d both done - I had 11ac wrong……

East side done, plodding in the west but it’s still early(ish).

I always think 1ac sounds like something woad would do…

Trying to parse 19d - definition “ship”?

19d yes on the def, it parses as a two letter country code reversed with a four letter word inside

I found this more difficult than Nutmeg usually is. I'm still stuck with 3 in the NW - 1d, 2d, and 11a.

Is 11a a four letter fish followed by i? I've found a possible answer, but Google tells me it's muscale rather than bone.

I've got 1d now, and it's ruled out my 11a!
