19d if I have the correct wordplay, the missing letters are usually “on” or “about”. “Touching” , in my vocab at least, is a less common synonym.

Almost finished but struggling with 16a/24d - any pointers please?

24a. def. (musical) composition
3 letters -satisfied (as verb) around 2letters for cool/trendy and last letter of rameau

I thought this was pretty hard but I liked the gimmick since I studied maths at university.

I can't parse quite a few I will look through the thread first before asking though.

I can't parse the first 2 letters of 4D (primitive?).
I can't parse 22A either but obviously it's right cos of the theme.

I also can't parse the second word in 8D :(

Ah ok the old Latvian turns up again for 2nd word in 8D ;) Seen that once before.

4d - first 2 letters are an ancient city
