Have to admit that didn't occur to me Cockie. I think your point about jumble versus rewrite argues convincingly for all capitals, though as a non-submitter I'm not too worried about it either way.

I just popped in to gauge just how much of a slog this is going to be. I'm up to the Es with couple of the earlier clues unsolved. Footy at half twelve so I'll have some company!

Have somehow finished this but am stumped by the second across entry - the misprint doesn't seem to fit the modified song line - and the final version seems to differ from what must be the clue answer...

I have also just finished the grid fill and have a reasonable message from the misprints. I just hope the endgame is not as difficult as filling the grid has proven to be. Probably return in 10 minutes or 10 days!!!

I’m afraid I’m about to give up. It seems that without solving all the nine letter entries, there is no way to get started, and we can’t get the modified line until we know where each solution goes.
My compliments to those who are much cleverer than me, but this seems just too hard.

Dylan, the Gloucester one is really quite straightforward, look up hock in Bradfords - that got me started. A bit of guessing and googling finished it off.
