Glad to be of assistance posting link to puzzle. Am hoping Dropbox link is resumed next week otherwise shall see if I can help.

Gentle hints in this thread appreciated: possession of Primary reference even more critical this week.

Grid completed but cannot fathom 37d, with definition being final word. Any pushes in right direction appreciated.

Hi Specsaver,

37d - extra letter is in 3rd word giving a 3 letter word followed by 2 letter "thing".

Brendan - where is the IQ crossword? I've tried Googling it and been down a few rabbit holes. I think it's probably on the i News website but can't see any confirmation of that. I assume it's via subscription?

To all those expressing concern about tatters, I'm sure he's all right, but I think it's fair to assume that he's left the forum after words were said on the Group Therapy thread started by itsme. But I could be wrong.

Hints please for 9d : all I can find is a brand name which doesn't seem to have achieved common usage and so doesn't fit the theme. Thanks.

What a pleasant way to spend a windy day.

Quixote (post #18) The Listener Archive is available on the Times Newspaper website - via subscription. I pay £25 a month for the complete package and raid the archive frequently.

simon9x (post #33) The Inquisitor is in the weekend I newspaper (£1:20)

Thanks for the possible explanation for tatter's absence, orson - I hadn't seen the thread but looking through it now I'm surprised by norah's rather angry response.
Anyway, I'd just like to thank you, tatters, for posting the link to Listener all through lockdown - it was a great boon and I'm very grateful to you for taking the trouble (and sometimes taking the flak!).
Sorry if I've jumped the gun and your absence is due to another reason altogether (and, if so, hope you'll be back soon).

Another very enjoyable puzzle. Thought it was going to be very tough for first 45 minutes but then started to get the hang of it and it all fell out quite quickly.

Can't see the wordplay for 7d, if someone could give me a hint (can see the 2 letter bit in the middle and presume the extra letter comes out of the A word, but can't see what the A word changes to).

Bradford's once again invaluable. Any relatively new solvers that haven't got Bradfords, I must have bought it about 2 years ago and I reckon it knocks close to an hour off most Listener solves.
