It's a homophone in my (British) accent - although I have been told by folk from the country in question that "we" don't pronounce that word well at all and should stick to using the English name for it.

Haven't tried an Everyman for two years and got less than half of this out . Is there some convention that answers are not given out on this , please?

3d - 6 letter first name of a "Spice Girl" around an anagram/off of a 6 letter word in the clue - definition is "vocalist" (it's not a specific person more a type of vocalist)

12a - 3 letter "priest" (from the Bible) around 4 letter "jab" then 4 letter "outhouse" - definition is "ordained".

body part : one of the digits on your hand

Ok -got it . I can see the wait bit but can't see how you get the t to n bit -(or perhaps the i to f) bit .

it + felt (reversed)

The 6 letter "wait around" goes around "it" from the clue then 4 letter "rubbed" reversed/up.
