11a - Is the "game" a 2 letter representation/abbreviation of N?????? and ??????? - I'm working on the assumption that the definition is "outer layer" (of fruit) and the last four letters are "fish" but, other than what I suggested, I can't think of a two letter "game"
PS I've discounted the game "go" because, even though I have the O before the 4 letter "fish", Chambers * function doesn't seem to suggest it leads to anything resembling an "outer skin" when placed before the "fish".
Brendan, Try putting 3 letters before 'fish'
Not sure of parsing for grid entry, but it could be an abbreviation of a Latin phrase for 'of game', with game being more like a business. Someone may have a better idea.
Thanks Malone, so are you saying it is EXO? Only I can't find the Latin abb. you're referring and consequently don't know whether it's the E or X that is unparsed?
