I've just noticed you're showing an extra letter in the second word.

Yep thought it was quite difficult today. Had to use a solver for 11A (but it was a good clue when I parsed it) and 17D. Can't parse 7D either.

7d take the first letter off a word for a girl's "bottom drawer" to get a painting Customs Officer.

For 7d just add a letter to the start to create another word

I know what the answer is but still can't understand what you meant... which letter do I remove from the start?

Do you mean add a letter to the answer at the start to make another word? In which case I can't work out which letter is to be added. I know the answer is correct cos Wikipedia says he is a painter in the primitive style.
