Morning all . The answer to 15d is also in The Sunday Telegraph today . Their clue is not as saucy . Most troublesome , riots then breaking out . Coincidence or same setter ?

Hi coffindodger
Paul is a regular Guardian setter who enjoys setting slightly smutty clues.

Hi. I’m stuck on 19 and 27. For 19 I have ?a?a?? I have an idea but it doesn’t add up. For 27 ?e?t???l

The expression in 18 is totally new to me if I’m right. A horticultural theme?

Thanks for pointing out the Pauline clue. I found it hard today.

Thanks chrise. Got them now after much searching. The pasta topping was something that, as a vegan, I’d forgotten about.

I’m stuck on 18 across.
How rotor-head’s spinning is a problem.
H-R- R-W - - -O-
I’m thinking an anagram meaning problem, but can’t make it work. Am I right?
Can someone give me a good clue?
Thanks

Sorry, I can't really help Ruby but it is an anagram.
It's a phrase I'd never heard of and I had to check with google after I'd shuffled the letters around!
You have plenty of crossers.
