Found this fairly straightforward until I came to the SW corner. FOI 1d, LOI 23a (needed Google to parse this), COD 25a.

Geeker, the usage of 17a is also unfamiliar to this Englishman! Googling provided an interesting explanation - all part of the pleasures of solving.

Glorious weather here so I’m going to get out and enjoy it. Cheers everyone!

My first ever single-sitting solve (and the first on paper, not the app, for years: a coincidence?)

Thanks for the welcome to the blog last week, Brendan.

The user name 'GravyAnecdote'? My real name is Andy Cotgreave. Of all the groups of people on the internet, you lot should quickly understand the choice :-)

Still stuck on 15 and 14. I can’t get 23 either. I’ll go away and come back to this later.
Surprised to see my current train destination early on, too - but I’m still 26 away.

It’s always reassuring when everyone else is having trouble with what I’m having trouble with. I’ve got 14d now thanks to tips here but can’t get 15a. Any help appreciated!
Thanks

23 is an obscure (to my mind) synonym for ‘brad’
