Hello! I'm new here. I've been doing "regular" crosswords for as long as I can remember, bit just recently got into cryptic crosswords.

I'm having trouble with 14d and 21d. I'm from Canada so I sometimes have trouble with the UK references.

The way I parse 14d leaves no more vowels once all the across words are filled in.

21d seems like it should be easy but I just can't get it.

I figured out 14d - not a term we use here, as I expected. I was using the wrong words for the anagram.

21 is "yoof slang" Construct it upwards.
