Thanks for the rhymes mystogre. As I feared, it was staring ne in the face.

Absolutely loved this week’s offering, starting with the wonderful 1ac and 4ac.

Yes, very much enjoyed today’s offering. Loved 1a, 20a, and even the primarily clue raised a smile recalling the ‘plumbing’ reference.

And 24ac is another world class example of that type of clue!

Good day to all, sailed through it and found it enjoyable. Thought I still did not have my LOI, but just went back to it after looking at these posts, a fresh eye helps. So LOI was 21d. FOI was 1a and I agree with the comment about how neat that the anagram works. I am confused by the references to 4a, cannot see one! COD is 25a for me and even heard Come Sail Away on the radio the other day - still cannot decide if that's a good rock opera piece or a bit naff. A bit naff I think.

After yesterday's exertions, this was a quick refreshing stroll with nothing too demanding, very enjoyable as we all seem to agree. Thanks Everyman, and nice to see s rhyme back after a few weeks' absence.

I hope Brendan's ok, haven't weusually heard from him by now? Have a good day everyone.

Luko, I think in the weeks where there was no obvious rhyme we had connected pairs where you could construct a short expression e.g. ‘kiss and makeup’ and last week ‘crackerjack’.

I recall Brendan was late to the forum two or three weeks ago. Hope to see him appear later.

Yep - all done! An enjoyable romp through it this morning. Got held up in the SW corner - 14d was the tricky one for me.
The parsing of 26a took a while!
