Well, all you clever clogs who rattled through 3886, can one of you please give me a clue for 15A? I've got C?N???M?T? S?I?? and no idea where to go from there. I'm also stuck on 7A although I think it might be an anagram of plaited? At least, being 78, I'd no trouble with 25A!

This is my first opportunity to help! Think about grounds for divorce being that the marriage has failed to be....

Re7a, the answer is a type of Jewish bread I hadn't heard of. 3 letter slang word for tea followed by a 4 letter word for a large room or even a large house backwards.

7A is a tad obscure (Yiddish, I think). Think of an eastern (or Cockney) word for tea, followed by a word for a room/corridor reversed. That should give you a plaited loaf.

I enjoyed this puzzle - lots of good, clever clues. FOI 9a. Had to like 5d as I am a hobby beekeeper. Liked 10a and 17a but COD is 17d which made me grin. LOI was 16d which I needed help with and can now appreciate the clue. Like others, enjoyed roast lamb for lunch, eaten in the garden - after our church's first hybrid service - some people there, others including us joining in online.

Thank you Will4jan. I looked up plastic coating, got the U (think that's a great homophone) and was just working out 15A when I got your help. I don't think I would have got the bread on my own, so thanks for that one too.

This was a nice puzzle, completed in half an hour or so after my Sunday night bath.

FOI: 9a, a list like that made it obvious
LOI: 19d, not tricky, it was just the last one in that corner

COD: probably 22a, nice bit of misdirection with the "bleu" cheese, and nice mental image of a pooch eating said cheese.

I'm 48 and got 25a instantly with no crossers, it's a fairly well known part of our culture IMO, I was actually a bit annoyed by the easy clue.
