Thanks Brendan. I did have 21d wrong. Still not convinced by the "circular motion" in 12a!

Overall I didn't enjoy this one. 19d for instance is very easy if you know the reference, but just about impossible if you don't

Good day, all. Have finished. As usual, not sure how, needed a few hints from this excellent forum, enjoyed reading the comments. Liked some clues, disliked others, hope to find time later today to post something insightful. My CoD is 6A.

Hi ChrieE,
I see that you were already given a graffiti nudge. Perhaps graffiti ID would clarify(?) with a commonly used term for Queen embedded.

Thanks dermaler
Not an expression I've ever heard, but I found it through Google.

Extraordinary coincidence of solution (with a very similar clue) between 9 across and today's Independent 20 across.

Hi, all. Interesting comments today. Also got stuck in SE corner but now I really like the way 21D works. So that's what &Lit means! Though what does it actually stand for?
Liked the rhymes & I though 8D & 3D were great anagrams, 15A & 16A were clever, and - penultimate one in (POI?) - 22D was a real groaner.
Cheers, all.
