I agree, it must be L for 50 because that's what the quote says "n. m.. c.. e.. 50 ???? - If it was C for 100 it just wouldn't bear any relation to the film's quote.
It’s a gentle little trap to finish, and make sure one knows the quote, as C is more common. I’ve seen that device used a few times. A bit like flog = tan or tat
I have to keep reminding myself that the IQ doesn't recommend Chambers so words like "lor" although they're in there might not have the matching definition.
