Yes, thanks again from me - I don't often get round to thanking you but I do download the crossword every week, very grateful that I don't have to risk my life getting it!

Have just figured out the structure of the third row and, as ever with Twin, this is shaping up to be another very clever piece of construction I think.

Me too, brilliant stuff.

Still plenty to be done on the bottom half though.

A startling construction! All done except that I can't parse 11. The answer is clear from the def, but the wordplay eludes me, despite having looked at it for longer than I feel it ought to need.

Hi cockie, look at definition² in Chambers for letters 2-4 provided by wordplay.

I shall have to attack this afresh in the morning. I have everything solved apart from 5,6,7,13 and 14 down, which is giving me a severe problem with the first unclued entry. I know what the incorrect entry for 14d is, but I cannot figure out what the correct entry is. As for 13d, I cannot find a definition of the CORRECT word that matches the word play in the clue. 5,6 & 7 have me stumped for the time being.

Thanks as ever, tatters.
The theme is far from what I'd usually find enjoyable but it's very well done and entirely painless (thanks to google!).
I really enjoyed it (now I'll relax my gritted teeth).
