I enjoyed this, and finished it but can't parse 13d. Got the for and the clergyman but where does the et come from? Perhaps I have skidded on the smooth surface of the clue!

13d - As you say, first 3 letters are "for" then a 6 letter "clergyman" minus its S(pecial) then O(ld) R(um) "to begin with".
