Thank you once again chrise. I've met the term "poker face" but not this antonym.

Greetings all. I am so stuck today with so many that I wouldn't know where to begin. Even with all the ideas in the forum today. So without giving any spoilers, can someone tell me what 75,000 has to do with anything? Also the moody teenagers -- I thought goths but guess that's wrong.

Just glad everyone thought it was hard. I'd put this under the wrong heading, so sorry if it appears three times.

75000 is the capacity of the answer (football ground Manchester area)

So much for the Everyman being a gentle stroll to end the weekend. This is a tough one and I'm glad others are feeling the same. I feel 13d should be easier so hints welcome as also 17a. I sort of feel I need a push here.

Rocky7, is 17a making you feel a bit pooped?

Ok. Thanks Lupus. Had I had a few more letters I might have eventually got that but in all honesty maybe not. Quite good to have a challenging Everyman actually.

Finally got there! Not entirely sure about the interpretation of the "trifle" part of 26a and the rather slang answer to 22d but that's probably just me....

Smot. If you trifle with something in that sense of the word then you do what the last four letters are. Glad you made it. I'm not quite there yet.
