6d your letters are right. Last 6 letters are synonym for boy, I see one - all backwards (climbing)

19d Think what may keep a sleeping partner awake, with a king inserted, and left at the end. Useful for diving.

Very enjoyable puzzle. I had heard of the Asian city as my eldest is a teacher there. Also I used to run ads for a rental in the Florida city. So that must be why I finished earlier than usual. COD 14/4 as observed on the beach this pm in sunny Normandy.
