I don't think I ever would have gotten it had the answer not been posted. Then again, I am American, so if this is an obscure old British term, that's why.

I decided to try this Listener based on the comments that it was relatively easy. I am still struggling, however. Again, I think this is at least in part due to my not recognizing British terms, etc. I had heard of Ben Nevis, but had to look up exactly what it was. I was also unfamiliar with the type of bats in 14. Are they well known in Europe?

I am guessing this is why I haven't gotten 19. It feels like natter should be changed to batter, so English batter would be a well-known cricketer. Am I on the right track? Can anyone offer help?

Hi Mathprofrockstar,

you're right that "natter" is the word changed but it's to a word beginning with 'm' - hope that helps.

PS I'd never heard of the bats before but it was clearly an anagram so not too difficult.
