In contrast. Took me ages to work through this. The longer 12 letters were key for me once i got them. But very satisfying with fun clues. My CoD 9d.

Hi - new to this forum but have followed your really helpful posts for some time. I’m a bit stuck on 15d - it’s my last clue and I can’t get it.

It's a difficult clue. It has several components to make an unfamilar expression for walking.
Belt as in strike is on the outside, then an anagram plus an extra letter inside.

Agree on the forum and just returned to it at the end of the day. And now see i had one letter wrong in 15d. Thanks all got it now. Don't get complacent. See you next week.

15d was definitely tricky and one really had to parse it very precisely to get the right answer.
