Thought they were jumbles, hence confusion. First grid now completed. Must pay attention at the back of the class.

I repeat (If it's OK for Harribobs, it's OK for me), after the initial gridfill, this puzzle was a mind-numbing bore, a festival of drudgery, a joyless tide of ennui, a Sisyphean heap of tedium, a dreary, wearisome, pile of repetitive donkey-work and a balls-aching grind. Apart from that, it was alright. If you are in the process of concocting another of these, Harribobs, please stop right now.

Has anyone else noticed the girl's and boy's names in the final grid? (isn't it strange how the brain tries to find patterns in a random assortment of letters?)

Yes (now you mention it), and it might have made the end a bit more satisfying had we been told Dean and Jean were doing the tour, end up in different places and must be highlighted. Still I suppose it's easy to say this or that should have happened after a compiler has done all the work putting it together.
