Aussie spiv's ...is just a straight anagram/when order's lost.

Parsings aside, there's one bit that has me puzzled. I know we don't have to enter the bars, but regardless, none of the words cross a bar (if there was one). However, the 10 letter "skin avoids....." answer starts in the 1st square in row 3, so there would be a bar above it, between the 2nd and 3rd squares in column 1. The problem is. my answer to "biblical king...." begins in the second square in row 2 then snakes round to the first three cells in row 3 - this means the answer would cross the bar (if there was one). As far as I can tell, no other answers would cross a bar. Have I gone wrong somewhere?

do you mean a bar under the G...that won't matter for the across answer?

One more problem ...what clue across or down passes through the crossing of row 5 and col 10 ... i have nothing in that cell so must have gone wrong somewhere??

I never usually do the Inquisitor but am only here as this week's Listener is a numerical (no way I'm going to even attempt that one!)
I'm struggling with the fiendish clues and am puzzled about the placement of the 'Biblical king...' across clue. Brendan - surely it must start at the 3rd cell of row 2? - there is no down answer starting in the 3rd cell of row 1 and if it began in the 2nd cell of row 2 then the 3rd cell would be blank. Or am I being an idiot?

the 3rd cell in row 2 has A in it from the down clue ammeter ...so the biblical king clue answer starts to the left of the A
