I am a long way behind everyone else here. Hints for 20a and 21d, please!

20a is not thematic and is an anagram of the first three words (minus a letter, of course). We've already had the solution to 21d very early on.
I am still puzzled by 6a & 7d. I have solutions, but the wordplay for 6a seems to lead to the Latin word for "nothing" and doesn't seem to apply to any other clue. I assume the word play in 12 applies to 6a but I can't parse it and I can't find any wordplay that applies to 7d.

What I mean is that there is a very useful hint to 21d in the very first post here so long as you are familiar with the Frankie Howerd TV show.

Barretter, the 6 A entry has a 'number one' inside a 'street'.... The 'nothing' is also rather ...juvenile, maybe.

The wordplay in 6 A has an old word for 'killed', reversed, and the usual 50.

Barretter, 6a wordplay goes with 7d. def.
An abb. for 50 inside a word for killed (can also be a large number), reversed.

Thanks, Barretter. Will get back again when I move on...
6a "nothing" is slang, not Latin.

Thanks Malone and Mattrom. I have never used those euphemisms for urinating and defecating so they didn't occur to me. For a long time I was convinced that the wordplay in 6 gave NI ("turn in") HI (hit minus T) over L (Latin for 50) giving NIHIL, which is really a Latin word but is in Chambers as an English word. This is the first time my Latin A level has proved a hindrance rather than a help!

NIHIL looks good to me... why is this incorrect?

Because it doesn't fit anywhere and it would make the second letter of the "four word indication" T which is an impossibility if you have worked that 1a is another non-thematic clue and that its superfluous letter is a consonant that cannot precede T.
